Rainbow Six Siege has its first new map in three years, emerald delta

Rainbow Six Siege is heading to Northern Ireland with its latest map – the first in three years. The Emerald Plains map is currently live for players on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and cloud platforms.

Set inside the famous Emerald Plains farm and country club, the new map features multiple ambush locations and infiltration opportunities, with three different interior stairs along with a rappel-ready skylight. It is split into two separate sections, with one focusing on a more classic look while the other is more modern and also has more open areas that should act as the center of many gunfights.

For Year 7 Season 1, Ubisoft introduced the Azami operator. Using the novice Kiba Barrier you can repair holes in both walls and floors, which is useful when protecting some of the more vulnerable parts of the Emerald Plains. It can also give your team just enough time to beat an opponent while they try to invade an area.

If you want to plan your approach on Emerald Plains in advance, you can check out the full blueprint of the entire map – divided into three levels – on the game Official website. This includes a complete list of breakable zones, so an Azami player will have a good idea of where they will be needed.

Rainbow Six Siege Now out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC, Luna and Stadia.

GameSpot may receive a commission from retail offers.
