Since 1999, Nintendo has provided prospective employees with an annual handbook detailing what it’s like to work for the company with the help of some exclusive images. From peeled-off covers to pop-up pages, these guides always take creativity to the next level, and the 2022 booklet is no exception.
Recommended on Twitter by @NintendoMemo, this year’s guide takes the theme of aviation and travel. If there’s one thing that can pull us back to the commercial air travel experiments of the past few years, it’s the Mario-themed passport pack.
Consisting of a boarding pass, a ‘have a nice trip’ message card, passport booklet and a usable passport pouch, this company’s guidebook is sure to be enough to make travelers Even the smallest collectors must salivate. Such packages are only available to potential employees, although we understand that resale values on auction sites can be particularly high.
Unlike the company’s previous guidelines (and we recommend checking Before Mario’s blog post for full information on previous years) the passport structure of the 2022 booklet provides a much more compact summary of what it will be like at Nintendo. The Visa pages are a personal favorite of ours – with each stamp creatively representing the release dates of some of the company’s most popular releases – Who says history can’t be interesting?
While air travel has seemed so far removed from the world over the past few years, this Nintendo guide has got us ready to get back on the plane. Does British Airways accept payments in giant gold coins?
