Rangers move on after 6-2 win over Hurricanes

The New York Ranger progressed to the Eastern Conference finals by defeating Carolina Hurricanes 6-2 on Monday in game 7 of the second series.

Rangers took a 2-0 lead early on Monday’s game with a pair of goals playing power in the first period from Adam fox, fox and Chris Kreider. New York took the lead in the second half with a Ryan Strome goal and in the third, Kreider made it four with the second goal of the game.
