Ranking of most runs and most tackles in the Lanka Premier League 2022: Andre Fletcher and Carlos Brathwaite lead the rankings

Galle Gladiators face Colombo Stars in the 12th match of the 2022 Lanka Premier League. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele hosted the thrilling competition.

The Gladiators were required to hit the sticks first and they placed 193rd on the board, thanks to contributions from Kusal Mendis (72) and Asad Shafiq (58). Naveen-ul-Haq picked up two wicks for the Stars when they picked up a total of five.

In response, Dinesh Chandimal (63) and Charith Asalanka (46) contributed to help them bring the game to the last minute. Ravi Bopara kept his spirits up and maintained an unbeaten record of 31 on 12 balls just to get his team over the line on the final ball. Nuwan Sohara and Anwar Ali each picked up three scalps, but the Gladiators failed to protect the total.

Kandy Falcons’ Andre Fletcher continues to top the list of most run Lanka Premier League 2022. The right-handed opener has scored 185 runs in five games and averaged 46.25 with the club. He scored a record goal in his first game and is in high form against batman.

Fletcher’s Inaugural Partner Pathum Nissanka placed in second place. Nissanka scored 177 runs in 5 games with an average of 35.40. He and Fletcher are giving the Falcons a solid start. Jaffna Kings’ Avishkar Fernando also has 177 runs and ranks below Nissanka on the list of most run Lanka Premier League 2022.

Galle Gladiators captain Kusal Mendis scored 72 of the 49 balls against the Stars and brought his tally to 177 in five games. He jumped to fourth place and was leading the Gladiators from the front. He will be eager to continue contributing in their upcoming clashes.

Lanka Premier League 2022 List of most goals scored

Kandy Falcons’ Carlos Brathwaite is the top catcher in the 2022 Lanka Premier League. He has caught 11 catches in 5 games with an average of 8.82. He’s bowling at an economy of 6.06 and is leading the Falcons’ bowling attack brilliantly.

Galle Gladiators’ Nuwan Thathara stars with the ball in their clash with the Stars. He bowled beautifully and finished 3/29 in his four rounds. He currently has nine goals in the competition and ranks below Brathwaite in the list of most goals.

Vijayakanth Viyaskanth of Jaffna Kings have won eight points in four games and are ranked below Sohara. He has an 11.88 average ball and has an economic ratio of 5.94. He’s playing an important role for the Kings and will be looking to add a few more roles to his roster on his next outing.
