Rapper Hurricane G, aka Gloria Rodríguez, Confirmed Dead, and Tributes Are Flowing In

The cause of death has not been revealed, but in May, Lexus, the daughter of Hurricane G, revealed her mother had lung cancer.

Hurricane G’s death came almost immediately after unconfirmed reports that another hip-hop artist, the “legend of Jersey” rapper, popular rapper Tame One of Artifacts, also passed away. Tame, Redman’s cousin, was also popular in the 1990s but struggled to achieve commercial success.
