Raw Chocolate Cashew Butter


Good morning from Amsterdam! I’m currently sitting down drinking a cup of tea and seeing the first blue sky I’ve seen all week, hurry up! I’m here for a really cool project but will share more about it in April, so stay tuned. And now, let’s eat!

4 ingredients. Creamy, creamy and rich in raw chocolate flavor from naturally sweet carob powder. Perfect for spreading on toast but equally good for slathering on fruit slices and anything that needs to be delicious!

This is a mismatch of the two; The perfect combination of sweet and savory. Whole grain bread toasted with cashew butter and topped with all sorts of fruit. One of my other recipes using delicacies Drinks from Alpro . seeds (this time the unsweetened Almond drink) adds a rich world to the nut butter. You can also use blanched almonds instead of cashews for the filling if you prefer.

  • 120g cashews + cup almonds for soaking
  • 10 dates (the better!)
  • ¼ cup Alpro sugar-free almond water
  • 1.5 tbs carob powder

Guide

  1. Put the dates in a cup and pour in the water until just submerged.
  2. Place the cashews in a separate bowl and pour in ½ cup of almond milk.
  3. Leave overnight or at least 3 hours.
  4. Drain the dates and cashews, then put everything in a high-speed blender until smooth. You may need to use a spatula or spatula to stir the mixture halfway through.
  5. Keep sealed in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
