Raw onions recalled in Quebec and Ontario due to possible Salmonella contamination

The Canadian Meals Inspection Company says crimson, white, and yellow uncooked onions from Prosource Produce LLC of Hailey, Idaho are being recalled as a result of potential Salmonella contamination.

The onions, which had been imported from the Mexican state of Chihuahua, had been bought in Ontario and Quebec and probably different provinces and territories between July 1 and Aug. 31.

They had been marketed below a wide range of model names, together with Huge Bull, Peak Recent Produce, Sierra Madre Produce, Markon First Crop, Markon Necessities, RioBlue, ProSource, Rio Valley and Imperial Recent.

Shoppers who’ve the onions are suggested to both throw them out or return them to the place of buy.

Thus far there have been no reported diseases linked to the produce.
