Jamaican reggae artist Jah Cure has been sentenced to six years in prison for stabbing a promoter in Amsterdam.
Voice messages have since been leaked showing the artist threatening victim Nicardo “Papa” Blake.

“I’m going to jail for you p*ssyhole,” he texted the promoter. “The last time you’ll live to do it,” another said.
“This is the n*gga thing I have to kill,” one witness said.
In a voice message, Jah Cure told someone: “Bredda let me tell you a story, I’m in the middle of Amsterdam square with some murderers. I’m waiting for Papa to stab him like sixty a thousand times you and I have I’ve got my knife he needs to respect his name,”
“My brother, this is stupid for me to tell you to trust me in God, if Papa shows up here I will hear the news and someone will be here to take the video. My brother I’m not lying when I tell you this.” I am waiting for Father to correct him well. And I’m waiting. If he shows up, brothers, you’ll hear the news,” he said.
“I’m not kidding and I would never send you a voice note like this for no reason. Jah Cure stabbed the accelerator in the stomach.
