Regina police investigating 3rd homicide reported in a week – Regina
Regina Police Service has launched a homicide investigation after a person was pronounced useless by paramedics at a house on King Road.
The sufferer has been recognized as 43-year-old Mitchell Lorne Oliver Anthony from Regina. His household has been notified of his loss of life.
That is the third murder reported in every week in Regina, after one other man was found useless on Monday and a girl’s loss of life was deemed a murder on Oct. 14.
Anthony is town’s eleventh murder sufferer.
Police say patrol members had been dispatched to a house within the 900 block of King Road round 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of an unresponsive man.
Officers arrived and requested EMS instantly after discovering the sufferer. Officers carried out CPR till EMS arrived however couldn’t revive the sufferer.
The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, Forensic Identification, and Main Crimes had been requested on the scene.
