Regina police investigating homicide of 16-year-old girl – Regina
Working with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, the Regina Police Service (RPS) confirmed Tuesday they’re investigating their twelfth murder of 2021.
In a launch, police stated officers responded to a report of a weapons offence within the 1200 block of Rae Avenue Monday and arrived to discover a deceased 16-year-old woman outdoors a residence.
“An injured male youth was additionally discovered at this location; he was taken to hospital by EMS with accidents described as critical,” the RPS launch acknowledged.
“Patrol members secured the scene and started the investigation, taken over by Forensic Identification, the Coroner and Main Crimes shortly thereafter.”

Because of Part 111(1), the identification of the deceased woman can’t be launched because the Youth Prison Justice Act prohibits publishing the identify of a teen. The RPS has not but made any arrests within the case.
