Reinier de Ridder revealed his five favorite workout songs.
‘Knight of the Netherlands’ has emerged as the best boxer in ONE Championship after becoming the middleweight and lightweight two-weight champion. Despite his great success, the 32-year-old has a mild personality and doesn’t give many interviews. He recently posted an Instagram post to reveal more about his personality with the caption:
“BEAST MODE activated 🔥 These are my 5 favorite songs to practice. #hiphop #workout #train #mma #beastmode”
De Ridder listed these five songs as his favorites while working out:
“Fu-Gee-La by Fugees, Beter Dan Goed by Spanker, Hit ‘Em Up by 2Pac, Fade by Kanye West and De Regel by Hef”
De Ridder may need his favorite songs more than ever as he prepares for Anatoly Malykhin at ONE on Prime Video 5. ‘Knights of the Netherlands’ next challenge is to defend the light heavyweight world belt against the interim heavyweight world champion.
The two division king is always ready to be tested. Although De Ridder has dominated the middle and lightweight divisions, Malykhin is a combination of skill and size that the ‘Dutch Knight’ has yet to face. De Ridder could also take the next step towards becoming a future three-weight title holder by taking out the interim heavyweight world champion.

Reinier de Ridder to switch from Arjan Bhullar . match
Reinier de Ridder has been adamant about being a three-tournament champion and possibly a four-tournament champion. ‘Dutch Knights’ are interested in battling undisputed heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar before injury and contract negotiations keep ‘Singh’ sidelined. In an interview with SCMP MMADe Ridder had this to say about Bhullar:
“Yeah, but who knows what happened to Bhullar? I’ve finished pursuing that. He’s not free, he doesn’t want to fight. He is not relevant at the moment.”
While Bhullar was inactive, Anatoly Malykhin defeated Kirill Grishenko to become the interim heavyweight world champion. ‘Singh’ is expected to return in January 2023, which will make for a fascinating discussion if De Ridder beats Malykhin. ‘Dutch Knight’ won’t be the interim heavyweight champion with a win over ‘Sladkiy’, but he will prove himself worthy of a title.
