Splatoon 3’s Splatfest World Premiere is the venue Splatoon 3First Splatfest and event starts today in all regions! Cleverly played on World Rock Paper Scissors Day, you’ll be able to try out new Splatfests, including the all-new Tricolor Cloverfield War, in online matches throughout the day.
Splatfest is split into two halves – the first six hours will be dedicated to Splatfest Battles, where it’s 1 v-1 paint splatter battles along the way. Then, for the second six hours, you’ll engage in some 4v-2-v-2 battles with a messy three-team battle. To participate in Splatfest, you’ll need to download the Splatfest World Premiere demo and swear allegiance to one of the three teams (tell us what you’ll do! our poll!).
When you start the demo, you may notice that you are given a code on the screen (or emailed). This code gives you a free seven-day trial of Nintendo Switch Online (if you haven’t signed up for the service), so make sure if you redeem the code to be able to join the mess!
As a reminder, here are the times when Splatfest starts in your region:
- Europe: Aug 27 (9am BST / 10am CEST to 9pm BST / 10pm CEST) – first half starts at 9am 10am, second half starts at 3pm 4pm
- North America: Aug 27 (9am PDT / 12pm EDT to 9pm PDT) August 28 (12am EDT) – first half starts at 9am 12pm , the second half starts at 3pm 6pm
- Japan: August 28 (9am to 9pm JST) – first half starts at 9am and second half starts at 3pm
