Report: ‘All Options on the Table’ for Tom Brady in 2023
Tom Brady has yet to say publicly whether he plans to play in the NFL next season, but it looks like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star is at least considering it.
Brady has left “all options on the table” for 2023, according to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. The 45-year-old feels physically fit to continue playing.
Brady intended to play only one more season when he changed his mind about retiring last season. His plan has long been to finish the season at 45, but those close to him have wondered if he might be more open to a return in 2023 than he was four months ago. are not.
The obvious reason Brady’s plans might change is that he and his longtime wife Gisele Bundchen are now divorced. Gisele is said to have give Brady an ultimatum about his future playing. If he no longer has to take her feelings into account, he’ll probably play for at least another season.
Brady is set to become a free agent, so he will have the option of signing with a team other than the Bucs. Some have speculated that he might want to play for the Las Vegas Raiders to reunite with Josh McDaniels. The San Francisco 49ers – Brady’s hometown team – will also be worth a look.
a reporter gives an even more interesting idea of Brady’s future recently.
The Buccaneers are 6-6 and in first place in NFC South. If Brady manages to pull off another miraculous run after the season ends with an eighth Super Bowl ring, he’ll probably more than likely call it a career.
