Knives Out 2 is coming to Netflix “this holiday season,” according to writer-director Rian Johnson, who also shared that the film’s title is Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Johnson announced the new title and shared a few details about the film on Twitter.
Discussing the inspiration for the famous detective novelist Agatha Christie, Johnson said: “She has continuously expanded the genre in terms of ideas. Under her master’s patronage, she has written films. espionage horror, murder horror, serial killer hunting, gothic romance, character psychology, travel glamor.” Johnson added, “When I did Knives Out, that’s what makes Knives Out. I’m excited about the prospect of doing more mysteries with Daniel [Craig] as Benoit Blanc – to mimic Christie and make each movie feel like a whole new book, with its own tone, ambition, and reason for being. “Check out the teaser Johnson shared, which reveals the title of the sequel.
In the upcoming sequel, Craig’s Benoit Blanc will travel to Greece to investigate a new mystery. Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline complete the group. Johnson is producing with Ram Bergman.
As more information about Glass Onion finally begins to appear, it also paves the way for Output knife 3 to start getting to the point. According to a 2021 report, Johnson, Bergman and Craig have pay 100 million dollars each for both movies.
