‘Risk!’ Explaining clues about Ukraine and Russia amid the invasion – The Hollywood Reporter

Rear group Risk! is solving a clue involving Ukraine and Russia that aired on Friday’s episode.

In the episode there is Double Jeopardy! In a category called “Border Borders with Russia,” the $800 clue, as host Ken Jennings reads, reads like this: “The Kerch Strait – along with its severe border problems – separates Russia from the rest of the country. this country on the Black Sea.” Contestant Adrian Alcalá correctly answered “What is Ukraine?”

Before the episode, the show’s official Twitter account posted explanation for the clue, aired just over a week after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine began on February 24.
