Robber stole more than Rs 210,000 at a gun in Delhi, held a party


Delhi Police arrested five robbers for allegedly carrying out two robberies of more than Rs 21 in PS Burari and Patel Nagar. The five defendants identified as Badal, Rajender, Suraj, Anil Singh and Yobian also organized bhandara using the stolen money.

Police scanned more than 300 cameras from Patel Nagar to Punjabi Bagh to catch the robbers. Police also recovered cash worth Rs 5.10, two pistols, four cartridges of live ammunition and a bag stolen from the defendant’s possession.

The incident came to light on June 24, when a complainant, Gagan Sharma, filed a complaint with the police that he had been robbed of Rs 21.8. The victim, a registered distributor of SPAY India Technology Private Ltd, told police that on June 24, two boys robbed with his guns.

“Two robbers snatched my bag from my hand and fled on the spot on a bicycle that was parked there. Another man was sitting on a parked motorbike,” the victim said in the police complaint. close.

Police officials scanned CCTV footage of nearby areas and discovered that three men robbed the victim on a red motorcycle. Another police investigation found that criminals often target businessmen who used to collect money from retail stores because these stores often have very large cash flows.

The team examined CCTV footage of exit and arrival routes and more than 300 cameras from Patel Nagar to Punjabi Bagh were analyzed. It is reported that the robbers carried out the robbery on a stolen bicycle without a registration number plate. The robbers changed vehicles to avoid being discovered by the police.

Police have arrested one of the accused, Suraj Thakur, an accused murderer in the PS Bawana case who has just been released from prison. Later, police arrested Rajender and Badal in Delhi from Rajghat. Furthermore, three other defendants were arrested from Moti Nagar, Palwal and Sunlight Colony.

On May 31, the defendant committed a gun robbery that took place near the Burari police station. They robbed Rs 40,000 from a shop owner and also stole his mobile phone.

A rickshaw driver who provided information on the criminals in this case is still on the run. Efforts are being made to track him down.
