Rocket League’s Octane could be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale this week
Missile Federation‘s Octane landed fortress in early October, as part of a collaboration between two games both owned by Epic. The vehicle is currently only available in Fortnite’s creative mode, but tweets from both Fortnite and Rocket League suggest that Octane could be coming to battle royale this week.
A video posted to both the Fortnite and Rocket League Twitter accounts shows a vehicle from a Rocket League match disappearing in a rift, an image that has previously been used to promote multiple crossovers. Fortnite.
Octane is already available in Fortnite’s creative mode, giving players a preview of its special abilities, including wall climbing and acceleration.
The tweet lists November 15, when Fortnite’s next update v22.40 is scheduled for release, meaning we’ll most likely see Octane appear in battle royale once the update is over. .
Maintenance for version 22.40 will begin at 4 a.m. ET on November 15, with matchmaking halted shortly before the outage.
