Sound wavesknown for his emotional songs, took to Twitter to let everyone know that his upcoming album, ‘Beautiful Minds’ will be his last “sad” project.
His tweets read:
About me [babies] dis my last sad a ** album I’m off dat just want to live happily, travel, [and] receive this amount.
He went on to say:
But das da grow doe we grow together
While Rod was expressing himself and making his fans aware of the change, one commenter wrote and said:
No one wants to keep hearing that depressing thing like a **s**t as comes with some new ugh
The 22-year-old answered and said:
Do not let[o] much
In May, the artist “Cold December” was accused of molesting his ex-girlfriend while their child was present. But the case was later dismissed.
His attorney, Brad Cohen, announced on Instagram;
Myself and my lead man David Bigney @bigneylawfirm represented Rodarius Green aka Rod Wave regarding his arrest last week, in Osceola County for an alleged domestic violence case. We are glad that this misunderstanding is behind him and that he can move forward with a successful career. Sometimes misunderstandings can be misinterpreted and it is not until all the evidence and witnesses are reviewed that the State Attorney makes the right decision.
In December 2021, Rod scared off fans by deactivating his social media account after posting cryptic lyrics that appeared to allude to suicide.
The artist then came back and said the song was not about suicide. During an IG live stream, he expressed:
Why would those damn people consider it my suicide note? ” That’s not how it works. That’s not how suicide letters work. You don’t go to the set and jot down a suicide note.
