Taiwanese tech company Asus has confirmed the launch date of its next gaming smartphone, ROG Phone 6. The company will launch the phone globally on July 5. ROG Phone 6″ The series global launch event will be held in Taiwan. It will be a virtual launch event and will be streamed online. You can adjust the launch time at 8pm Taipei Time (UTC+8), which is 5:30pm IST.
ROG Phone 6 will be one of the world’s first gaming smartphones to feature Qualcomm’s latest 1st Gen Snapdragon 8+ flagship SoC. Just like with ROG Phone 5ROG Phone 6 is also expected to come in three variants – the standard ROG Phone 6, ROG Phone 6 Pro and ROG Phone 6 Ultimate – with all three powered by the 1st generation Snapdragon 8+ chipset.

The 1st Gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ SoC is said to have 10% better CPU and GPU performance when compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.. It is also said to be 30% more power efficient, which means we can expect less battery drain and therefore improved battery life.
Besides the ROG Phone 6 series, the company also plans to unveil some new gaming accessories and new gaming headsets on June 7.
