Roman Baber kicked out of Doug Ford’s caucus
Canada’s Conservative Party leadership candidate, Roman Baber, told Evan Solomon on CTV News’s Power Play channel on Monday that he ignored a caucus meeting by Ontario Premier Doug Ford about his comments on the COVID-19 lockdown seems to show “we don’t have much tolerance for opinions. ”
Baber is an attorney and Independent Member of Parliament for the Province of Ontario. He was first elected as a Radical Conservative in 2018, but was ousted from Ford’s caucus last year after publishing an open letter criticizing the government’s lockdown measures.
Power Play has requested interviews with all stated leadership candidates. Stay tuned for more interviews.
