Salvation Army of Genesee Co. looking for Red Kettle volunteers | News
The Genesee County Relief Team is in dire need of volunteer ringers this holiday season for the Christmas Kettle campaign.
Volunteers ring the bell from November 25 to December 24.
“We are reaching out to communities, churches, businesses, schools and neighborhood groups to work with us to deliver our kettles this season,” said Major Randy Hellstrom. . “This year, we need more families, businesses and neighborhood groups to participate.”
The money raised is used to support thousands of people in need. 80 cents of every dollar goes directly to helping residents in need, the Salvation Army said.
