Samsung Galaxy A23, Galaxy Note 10 Series start to receive May 2022 security update: Report
Samsung’s Galaxy A23 and Galaxy Note 10 series smartphones are tipped to receive the May 2022 security update. The security update for the Samsung Galaxy A23 smartphone is said to be released in several European countries, including Germany and Russia. Other markets like Africa, Americas, and Asian countries are expected to receive the latest update in the next few days. However, the May 2022 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ is said to be available now in some Asian countries as well as Europe, including Malaysia and Switzerland.
According to a report by SamMobile, May 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXU1AVE4 which has been claimed to be able to fix dozens of privacy and security issues in handsets. The latest update is also expected to fix some general bugs and will be helpful in improving the stability of the device, according to the report.
Other way, another report by SamMobile saying that SAMSUNG also released the May 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. The software update for both these smartphones comes with firmware version N97xFXXU8HVE5.
The report also says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, which is not available in markets including India, is also receiving the latest update with firmware version N976BXXU8HVE5 in Switzerland.
Just like is the case with the Samsung Galaxy A23, the latest software update for the Galaxy Note 10 series brings fixes for dozens of privacy and security issues. The update also fixes general bugs and improves device stability on the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+.
As mentioned, the May 2022 update for the Samsung Galaxy A23 is said to be available in Germany and Russia, as of now. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ are said to have received this software update in Malaysia and Switzerland.
Eligible Samsung Galaxy users will automatically receive the latest update. Users can also manually check for updates, in any of the above mentioned countries, by going to Setting > Software updates > Download and install.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A23 was launched in India a few months ago. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series succeeded debut in India back in August 2019.
