Samsung’s new gaming monitor includes built-in cloud gaming services
SAMSUNG introduced four new gaming monitors from its Odyssey line at Gamescom today. The company’s new series of gaming monitors not only bring some of the usual gaming features like high refresh rate support, curved screens, and better response times, but they also come with the Samsung Gaming Hub. built-in available.
They are the company’s first gaming monitor to include the Gaming Hub. For those who don’t know the Gaming Hub is Samsung’s new step in the field of cloud gaming. It doesn’t look like a standalone platform but it offers integration with other cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming, Stadiaet cetera.
The new gaming monitors also come with built-in support for cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming, Amazon Luna, GeForce Now and Google Stadia. Monitors will allow users to stream and play games without needing to attach them to a gaming console, laptop or PC.
While Samsung hasn’t revealed full details about its new Odyssey series monitors, it has certainly revealed a few important details. For starters, the Odyssey G70B comes in two screen sizes – 27 inches and 32 inches. It comes with a IPS LCD the panel supports 4K, 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms gray-to-gray response time.
On the other hand, the Odyssey 65B comes with a 1000R curved panel with 1ms response time, 240Hz refresh rate, and it is available in 27-inch and 32-inch screen sizes.
