In this week’s memorable fashion news, Sarah Paulson wore a designer coat with a zipper that was so comically wide that her partner, Holland Taylor, had to embrace it, too. On March 6, longtime couple strutted through Paris Fashion Week in designer coats while attending Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter 2023–2024 show.
Paulson’s clothing, designed by the French fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière, featured a medium-length tweed jacket with exaggerated hardware, including a zipper the size of her face. Feeling amused, Taylor grabbed the giant slider of the zipper and gently dragged Paulson through the streets of Paris, turning ““torn” star into human wallets in seconds.
“Where I go, she goes,” Paulson captioned a photo of Taylor unzipping her pants on Instagram Stories. In a romantic post on her own IGS, Taylor shared a photo of Paulson in the car on the way to the event. “My view of Paris,” the “The Morning Show” star wrote.
Paulson’s tweed jacket includes pleated leather panels around the waist, black shoulder detailing, and a matching high collar. On the front of the item, the design features a substantial gold zipper with a large slider at the neck, resembling a necklace. At her waist, the jacket showed off black belt buckles woven through oversized metal holes, beautifully complementing the gold ring on her left hand.
The actor wore a jacket over tights with intricate lace patterns. On her Instagram Stories, Paulson shared a close-up image of her Louis Vuitton Tilsitt handbag.
