Haunting satellite images are beginning to emerge, showing the extent of the devastation left by Turkey after a series of disasters. earthquake devastated the area near the border with Syria.
The first quake, magnitude 7.8, struck at 4:17 a.m. (01:17 GMT) on Monday and was centered in the Pazarcik district of Kahramanmaras province. Then there were dozens of aftershocks.
Less than 12 hours later, a second 7.6-magnitude earthquake hit the same area.
