Second US case of Omicron variant found in Minnesota



Susan Philip, San Francisco health official, told CNN that the first patient confirmed with the variant of the Omicron coronavirus in the United States is doing well.

“This first individual is doing well,” Philip told CNN’s John Berman on New Year’s Eve Thursday, adding that there has been no indication of further transmission of the virus.
