A woman in a wheelchair is hospitalized after being hit by a car in Dorval along Highway 520 on Friday morning.
According to Sureté du Québec, the incident happened around 4:15 a.m

The woman in her 20s was hit by a car traveling west at high speed near 55th Avenue.
The victim was taken to hospital and officials said they feared for her life.
After the accident, the driver was treated for shock.

Accident restorers from Sureté du Québec say the cause of the crash is still unknown.
Investigators will try to figure out why the disabled woman was on the highway at the time.

Officials said a section of the road would be closed for the rest of the morning.
The detour is made along the service road.
