See new balloons at the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade


(CNN) – In Turkey, family time and football are among the traditions many look forward to on Thanksgiving every year. But there’s one other big event that often takes center stage on holiday: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The annual parade, which celebrates the 95th march this year, has become a holiday not to be missed for many in America. And although the 2.5-mile stretch will feature everyone’s favorite balloons – Snoopy from “Peanuts”, Goku from “Dragon Ball” and The Boss Baby from the DreamWorks movie – six new balloons will be included. into operation.

Named after legendary puppeteer Tony Sarg, who has also done a number of projects for Macy’s and the parade, the bear that leads this band is a performer. Designed, built and painted entirely by the Macy’s Studio team, the bear is “showing people how to march to own beat,” said the retailer.
