The Senate voted Saturday to rapidly complement the Freeway Perception Fund, merely hours after the Residence handed an emergency temporary financing measure.
The Senate handed the measure unanimously on Saturday and it’ll now go to President Biden’s office for its signature.
Money for the idea ran out at midnight Thursday and resulted inside the layoff of “about 3,700” employees of the federal Division of Transportation, the corporate said in a press launch on Friday.
The Residence — which is engaged in negotiations over President Biden’s billion-dollar infrastructure funds — held a separate vote to approve the 30-day extension of freeway financing.
