HOW TO PLAY WORDLE?
Wordle is a simple word guessing game and asks the player to guess a five letter word in six attempts. The game is available on a website and you can play it from your mobile phone as well as a laptop or computer. There is a grid and a keyboard on the Wordle website and you can select your letters from there.
To get started, you must enter your first five-letter word prediction. That forms the top row of the grid. If you correctly fill in one of the letters in the grid, the cell will turn green. If the letter you guessed is in the word but not in the correct box, the space will turn yellow. If the player guesses anything else, the color of the brick remains unchanged.
STRATEGY FOR BETTER WORDLE PLAY
Tip #1: While playing Wordle, try to use common letters. The most common letters in English are e, t, a, i, o, n, s, h and r. Try using them for the first few tries.
Tip #2: Don’t waste your efforts on single-letter words that you’ve eliminated, or letters in a position where they can’t be.
Tip #3: On your first attempts, if a letter is highlighted in yellow, it cannot be in the same position on any of the following guesses. It also won’t be in any position that has turned green. This means you don’t have to try all four remaining positions for a yellow letter.

Wordle was invented by Josh Wardle, a software engineer from Brooklyn, for his Indian partner, Palak Shah, who loves word games. The name of the game matches the creator’s last name, Wardle. Palak and Josh played the game for several months before its October 2021 release, The New York Times reported. Wordle was sold to the New York Times.
