Epic Games’ Fortnite is about to go from massive to… Even bigger. NS Chapter 2 finals are on the way and we’re about to enter uncharted waters once again with new Fortnite Chapter content that promises to continue to break boundaries and impress. We don’t think the onslaught of co-op content is going anywhere, but there’s a lot more that comes out of Fortnite – a battle royale game that feels like a sandbox game. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 3 – well, what we know so far.
FINAL – The final stage of pre-preparation
Over the past few months, Fortnite’s islanders rallied together against alien invasions and the Queen of the Cube to fight for “ultimate reality”. That fight will continue for the next few days, and it looks like Chimpanski – the Astronaut responsible for preparing the defenses – has finally finished building his base.
The POI called “Fortress Guava” has been dynamically improved over the past few days and now it has reached its final stage – you can check it out below:
It doesn’t look like much, but it will give Fortnite Islanders enough of a chance to beat these big odds and save Fortnite Island – again.
Extra XP before the end of chapter 2
The current Fortnite season will end a day earlier than originally planned, and there’s some bonus XP offered to everyone who owns the Season 8 Battle Pass.

Chapter 3 has been confirmed!
In a video detailing the upcoming event ‘The End’, it was confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 2 is coming to an end. This event will take place on Saturday, December 4 and Chapter 3 will begin on Tuesday, December 7.

It’s worth watching the latter with a bit of salt, but it could be a great insight into what to expect from the Fortnite Chapter 2 Finals Event ahead of the server downtime and Chapter 3 Season 3. first.

Sliding Mechanism – This was revealed in a previously leaked Loading Screen image and it looks like it will appear in an event rollout update.
- Creature Killer – The in-game event could be a wave-like survival mode against the Cube Queen and her forces.
- Catching up – A teleport mechanic can be introduced to keep everyone the same narrative rhythm.
They also suggest that these will be the following gameplay stages:
- Att – Attack
- Bea – Beam
- Bre – Violation
- Bri – Bridge
- Cinema – Cinema
- Esc – Exit
- Lob – Lobby
- PCin – Maybe have to reload into a game?
- Swi – Maybe related to Swimming?
LEAKS – New loading screen confirms Chapter 3
Fortnite leaker HappyPower shared the Afterload Screen – an image meant to start the hype of the massive end-of-season event has been leaked.
As you can see below, that confirms that Chapter 3 Season 1 will drop in the next big Fortnite update.
The image itself shows several classic Fortnite characters all gearing up for one final showdown with the Queen of the Cube at her side POI Newly built cube pyramid.

This seems to confirm the rumors we’ve been seeing about Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 – The Downtime will begin on December 5 and will end on December 7 when the New Chapter begins. Looks like The Foundation is going to have a dialogue and we don’t know what to think…

Epic Co-Founder Chumes In
After being asked directly on Twitter whether Season 9 or Chapter 3 is next in the Fortnite calendar, Epic Co-Founder Mark Rein replied that ‘Time will tell’.
Of course, this can continue to fan the flames of community engagement, but it’s also a dangerous game if the final product doesn’t deliver.
It’s increasingly likely that Chapter 3 is near.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Start Date
If the clues are really trying to tell us there won’t be Part 9 and instead we’re going straight to Chapter 3, which starts on or around Monday, December 6. We know that Season 8 ends on Sunday, December 5 and will probably do so with a major event.

Chapter 3 Hints / Clues
Over the past few days, there have been many clues to Fortnite Chapter 3. Initially, the main theory came from @FNChiefAko on Twitter. They theorized that the Queen of the Cube was the key to everything and maybe activate Chapter 3 at the end of Season 8.
This stems from the weird words in the Cube Queen song and the inscription on her cosmetics. What started as a theory actually received a bit of a backlash, more and more leakers and creators figured out information verification and what it points to.
No one has stuck their neck out to make sure that Chapter 3 is understandable, but it seems like a lot of people have access to the theory!
