WATERLOO – An AWOL sex offender has been arrested after he allegedly masturbated in a women’s public restroom last week, a day after he ran away from home and ignored GPS monitors .

Waterloo Police arrested Jacob Lee Anthony Denniston, 30, on charges of indecency. He was also arrested for voluntary absenteeism for leaving home midway through and violations of parole and probation.

According to court records, employees at Kwik Star at 506 W. Ninth St. noticed that someone had been in the ladies’ room for over an hour on Friday morning. A Worker walked in and found Denniston naked on the floor and masturbating, according to court records.

This is the second time that Denniston was accused of leaking goods in a store. In December 2020, Waterloo police arrested him after he allegedly exposed himself at a mattress store on Crossroad Avenue and then went to a nail salon, where he stripped and locked himself up. myself in the room.

He pleaded and was placed in the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility with two years of probation. In May 2021, a week after his appointment, he was released to go to a store and library. According to court records, repairmen found him at the Adult movie theater on East 4th Street that same day.

He was charged with violating probation and was sent to prison until March 22, 2022, when a bed was available at the residential facility. Two days later, he fled again while in peril, according to court records. Repair workers found his GPS tracking device abandoned on the sidewalk on Commercial Street.
