The first trailer for Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk series is finally here. Along with the trailer comes our first look at New York’s very tall green lawyer, with a release date set for later this summer.
The show is officially called She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and we’ll be able to watch it exactly three months from now on August 17. The trailer introduces us to Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin. Here, we see her acting as the lead attorney for a new sublime law division at her law firm.
The trailer gives a creative glimpse into how Jennifer got her powers. In the comics, strength often comes through blood transfusions from Bruce – hence the cousin bond. However, the MCU is no stranger to tweaking how powers are collected and used; Upcoming The series Ms. Marvel, for example, which debuted on June 8, Kamala Khan derives her powers from a set of mystical bracelets. In the comics, the Mist Terrigen activates her powers along with many others with latent Inhuman biology. Jennifer can get her powers from another source, such as the short-lived Abomination, played by the returning Tim Roth.
We’re well aware of Jennifer’s prospects from the short trailer, and it suggests a comedic show awaits us later this year, but CGI once placed Tatiana Maslany’s own face into her much larger body. She-Hulk still looks unfinished- -Thankfully, they’ll do some work to improve the lighting and visuals before the show hits, as bad CGI can kill a project like this even before it started. However, given how well they managed to unify Mark Ruffalo and Hulk, both in the Avengers movie and this trailer, it looks like they might be able to figure it out.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premieres on Disney+ on August 17. Tatiana Maslany plays She-Hulk and the series will feature Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. Also on the trip were Tim Roth returning as the Abomination, and Jameela Jamil debuting as She-Hulk’s Titania rival.
