Simple app can help relieve insomnia
The app has received official recommendations from the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE – providing national guidance and advice to improve health and social care in the UK) ; however, it is currently only available in Australia through Flinders University clinical trials.

This calls on all GPs (general practitioners) and people with insomnia in Australia to learn the app’s accessibility.
“Our previous research has shown that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (or ‘CBTi’) is the most effective treatment for insomnia and that Sleepio is a self-administered version of this treatment. there,” said Dr Alexander Sweetman from Flinders University’s Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health.
