SIOUX CITY – A Sioux City man is in custody for a road rage incident in which he is accused of pointing a gun at another motorist and threatening to kill him.
Sioux City Police were notified of the incident at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, when, according to court documents, Chad Hendrickson pointed a shotgun at another motorist as they were heading north on Pierce Street and said , “I’ll blow your head off.”
Police prevented Hendrickson from discovering he was in possession of a 38 mm handgun, 0.08 grams of marijuana and a pipe with marijuana residue.
Hendrickson was arrested on charges of threatening with a dangerous weapon, felony possession of a firearm, assault while engaged in a felony and a third or subsequent count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $10,000.
