Small plane crashes in Waukesha County, the second in 2 weeks


WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) — A small airplane crashed close to a golf course in Waukesha County Saturday, Oct. 30.

The airplane crash is the second in two weeks within the county.

Stories of this crash got here in simply after 5 p.m. Saturday.

On the scene, the airplane hit a powerline, reducing energy to virtually 100 houses within the space.

We Energies had a crew working to restore the downed traces.

Neighbors stated the airplane generally lands close by.

The sheriff’s workplace stated the 61-year pilot was taken by flight for all times to an area hospital. we don’t know his situation in the meanwhile.

This comes after one other small airplane crashed in Waukesha on Oct. 12, killing a husband and spouse on board.

That crash occurred close to HW 164 and Crimson Wing Driver.
