We’re big fans of the linguistic questions surrounding these parts, and if they’re video game related, all the better. Whether it is Nintendo related gaming Vocab, Pokémon pronunciationor find out the way you say the name of Link’s sentient swordwe always discuss words.
A recent conundrum has us scratching our heads and starting to get convicted “oh, how do you say it – I never know which way is right!” when discussing the game is Square Enix’s HD-2D Switch remake from Super Famicom RPG Live A Live.
We’re lucky enough to have spent a lot of time on it recently – and you can find out more about our thoughts on the game in Live A Live practice preview (spoilers: we like it so far) – but we’re still not sure how we should say the name of the game. All these years it was a Super Famicom exclusive, we can laugh at our ignorance, but now that the game is officially coming to the West on July 22, it’s a matter of urgent pronunciation. than!
