We heard some sounds from Sonic Frontiers, but what about the music? Sega today revealed the game’s ending theme song will be ‘Vandalize’ – the latest song by rock band One Ok Rock.
This new Sonic song is described as a “collaborative effort” between Sega and One Ok Rock – reflecting the “massive gameplay environment” as well as the high-speed action players can expect from Sonic Frontiers when it launches later this year.
Here’s what the band’s lead vocalist Taka had to say about the song:
“We cooperate with SEGA on Sonic Frontiers because we relate to Sonic and how he approached the world after starting in Japan. We are based in the US and have performed in Europe, Asia and South America, so we are extremely happy to be working with the world famous Sonic. “
“This collaboration song, Destructive, is upbeat and has some Japanese-inspired tunes while also sounding like the song ONE OK ROCK. It also matches Sonic’s cool image and his speed when he runs, so enjoy Destructive with Sonic as he sped past Sonic Frontiers. “
