Spy photo of BMW X5 2024 showing off new styling, new lights
BMW X5 Preparing for a mid-cycle refresh and today we bring it to you spy photo give us an idea of what that update will look like.
BMW’s Camo is light enough at the front to indicate that the lower bumper is being altered with new grille and vent designs. However, when it comes to the kidney grille, the size and shape aren’t much different from the current one X5, even if it’s slightly tweaked to refresh. The headlights themselves appear slimmer, but not significantly changed.
Model-specific tracking testing is here labeled as hybrid tram in the sticker, so we suspect it’s the xDrive45e PHEV model — you can read Specific review of PHEV here.
Not much has happened on the sides of the X5, but the rear end is being treated as a remarkable makeover on par with the front. The taillights have the most obvious difference, as part of the LED design is exposed through the camouflage applied on. We can’t see the full light enough to know exactly what it looks like, but enough to know that BMW is making a change. All the other camo at the rear suggest a massaged tailgate design and lower bumper, but we’re not sure what that will look like.
Photos of the interior are not seen in these photos, but we will definitely see the BMW Latest iDrive 8 interface takes center stage with a larger, more prominent display inside. At this point, we expect the refreshed version of the X5 to launch in the 2024 model year, so expect the full reveal of the model line at some point in 2023.
