Stardew Valley modders have some funny ideas for grandpa’s bed

Popular pet sims Stardew Valley It starts with you inheriting a piece of land from your late grandfather. As the scene plays out, you will see your grandfather lying sick in bed, holding a letter saying that he left the farm property to you. In the original version of this scene, the grandfather’s bed looks rather uncomfortable, like he is lying on one of the spread out plastic tables. Over the years, it has become a repeated joke throughout the fandom, and lately fans have been making other mods with a niche meme.

Mods for the grandfather’s bed were picked up in early April, and they were all visual jokes that appeared on the original dirty bed. The mod included in the main image of this article turns the bed into a ping pong table is quite noisy. According to the mod’s page, the creator made it “in case grandpa’s original bed wasn’t bad enough.”
