Steelers’ Kenny Pickett Sets Strange Record
Steelers QB Kenny Pickett replaces Mitch Trubisky in the second half of Pittsburgh’s 24-20 loss to the Jets on Sunday. This rookie played inconsistently, but he didn’t hesitate to break through the tight encirclement.
Pickett also made history.
The rookie shot 10 to 13 in 120 meters on his debut, none of which hit the ground. (He also threw three interceptions.) It marked the most pass attempts in a game where the ball didn’t touch the field in NFL history, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
