Stephen Curry’s unusually shaky performance at the free-throw line on Sunday certainly hurt Golden Empire Warriors in their attempt to shut down the Denver Nuggets. It also has Curry smoking after the match.
The reliably normal Curry took a 10-14 lead in Sunday’s 126-121 loss. That’s perfectly fine for most players, but Curry has taken free throws at a rate of more than 90% throughout his career. Leaving scores behind was a big deal for him, and he said after the game that his four misses were “the worst feeling in the world”.
