Stephen A. Smith protested to Jamie Foxx after Jamie walked into the shaded room about his remarks about Ben Simmons
Roommate Stephen A. Smith has officially responded to Jamie Foxx walking into The Shade Room to call him out for a comment he made earlier this week about Ben Simmons! As expected, Stephen A. Smith did not hold back when he hit back at Jamie Foxx for kicking him in the comments section of The Shade Room for criticizing Ben Simmons for continuing to not play basketball.
Never one to shy away from voicing his opinion, Stephen A. Smith was right in response to Jamie Foxx calling him out after he recently called Ben Simmons “the most pathetic athlete in history” sports history.”
He spent some time on the latest episode of ‘First Take’ and wanted to say this to Jamie:
“Jamie Foxx knows better. He’s just as protective of Black athletes as he should be because they deserve our protection, to be honest. I’m calling Kyrie and Ben Simmons for their impact and influence on Black athletes. When you go to the collective bargaining table and they use them as an example to try to minimize their contribution to players, it’s about those players. It’s not just about them, it’s about Black athletes.”
Stephen A. Smith also said the only reason he’s addressed Jamie Foxx’s comment on the air is that the two had previously spoken on the phone about the matter and understood that they agreed to disagree because they were friend.
As we previously reported, earlier this week after the Brooklyn Nets were officially kicked out of the NBA Playoffs, Stephen A.Smith had this to say about Ben Simmons, “Ben Simmons is also possibly the weakest excuse, The most pathetic for a professional athlete we have ever seen in, not only American history, but sports history as well. I can’t think that a professional athlete would act more pathetic than this man.”
