Stó:lō author Lee Maracle, a leading voice in Indigenous literature, dies at 71


Stó:lō author Lee Maracle, who championed the tales of Indigenous girls to vary the face of Canadian literature, has died.

Household good friend Michaela Washburnsays the acclaimed creator, poet and trainer died Thursday at a hospital in Vancouver at age 71.
