“Stop thinking about IPL and think about country”

Former Pakistani foot spinner Denmark Kaneria has advised Team India’s players to shift their focus away from the Indian Premier League (IPL) and focus more on playing for the country. According to Kaneria, unless Men in Blue sort out their priorities, bad results like the ODI series loss in Bangladesh will continue.

Team India lost five runs to Bangladesh in the second ODI in Dhaka on Wednesday, December 7. Chasing 272, they were held to a draw at 266/9 despite Shreyas Iyer (82), Axar Patel (56). ) and half-century captain Rohit Sharma (51*).

The men in blue had previously lost their first match with just one racket, thereby conceding a goal in a three-match series with one match left.

Sharing his thoughts on Team India’s disappointing performance in Bangladesh, Kaneria said on his YouTube channel:

“Stop thinking about the IPL and think about the country. Indian Cricket is the most important, not cricket franchise. There is money in franchise cricket, but you can also make money in international cricket. Unless and until you start taking international cricket seriously, these kinds of results will continue.”

IndiaBangladesh’s loss to Bangladesh on Wednesday was their second consecutive loss in their ODI series in the country. They failed 1-2 in their previous visit in 2015 also under MS Dhoni.

“Due to numerous changes, this Indian team has disbanded” – Danish Kaneria

Dissecting Team India’s difficulties in recent times, Kaneria blamed the leadership for the constant changes that left the team divided. He explained:

“Due to countless changes, this Indian team has disbanded. The players in form have been rested. Those who are not in shape continue to play. This team was broken or rather broke and that was too bad.

“Batteries are unsure of their position as they have been asked to hit the ball in various positions over the past few months. The bowling attack has been constantly changing. No proper planning or execution. I don’t even think there’s a plan in place. India’s cricket has fallen and Bangladesh has a very good chance to win the Tests as well.”

Third ODI between India and Bangladesh will be broadcast in Chattogram on Saturday, December 10. Next will be a series of two Quiz.
