Street Fighter 6 lineup: All characters confirmed so far
A new era for Capcom’s iconic fighting game series will begin in 2023, when Street Fighter 6 is in development for PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X | S. The latest chapter the series is heading towards is the most accessible versionwhile still serving veteran fans who have grown up with the franchise over the years.
For the roster, Capcom has combined many new and old faces for Street Fighter 6. While the company has admitted to one Recent leaks of all the characters supposedly included in the game, it also doesn’t exactly confirm the authenticity of the leak. We’ve gathered the confirmed faces for Street Fighter 6 that have been revealed so far, including the famous Ryu from the series, the drunken boxer Jamie and the once famous Chun-Li.
The most obvious change is in the graphics of Street Fighter 6, which uses a combination of high-energy graffiti and hard-to-hit colors from the RE Engine to deliver a beautiful game. Internally, The action revolves around the Drive Systema system of five special moves that players can experiment with to create exciting combos, defense options, and special attacks.
Drive Parry reflects an attack and fills your Drive gauge, Drive Impact absorbs an attack, and Drive Reversal provides counter-attack techniques to your arsenal when you back into a corner. On top of that, there’s the Drive Rush that bridges the gap between the fighters, and the Overdrive Art that’s similar to the EX Moves in previous games.
Brand new modes called World Tour and Battle Hub are also included, and Street Fighter 6’s two control modes cater to novices and experienced players alike. While the Classic Controls scheme uses familiar inputs with a six-button layout, the Modern Controls setup allows for easier inputs so that a particular move can be made by combining a special scroll button with a direction input.
