The captains will host the Broncos in the Week 13 edition of Sunday Night Football. The captains lead the division 7-4, but the Broncos are still very much in the post-season picture with a score of 6-5. Kansas City is nine points as favorite at home, so Sin City’s sportsbooks aren’t upbeat about Denver’s chances of upset. Hopefully, for the sake of entertainment and competitive DFS single-game competitions, the Broncos will make things even more fun. We have three Denver players, including our Captain, on the DraftKings Showdown lineup below.
Before we get into our picks, here are the main rules of the DraftKings Showdown: That is Full point PPR, and have three-point bonus for 300 yards of passing, 100 yards rush, and 100 yards receive. The captain pick costs 1.5 times the player’s original price, but he also gets his total score multiplied by 1.5.

Screening Choices on DraftKings: Broncos vs. Chiefs
Budget $50,000, need at least one player from each team.
Captain (1.5 times points, 1.5 times salary) RB Javonte Williams, Broncos ($11,400)
It seems increasingly likely that Melvin Gordon (hips) will be out of action on Sunday, making Williams the main runner-up this season for the first time. He’s gone over 100 yards of script twice in the past three weeks, and with increased workload, he’ll have a good shot at earning three DraftKings bonus points for dashing over 100 yards. The captains have defended better in recent weeks and the Broncos have been a lot of the underdogs, but Williams has the ability to get through the game, so the mass should still be on his side.
FLEX WR Tireek Hill, Chiefs ($10,800)
Hill has had a good run over the past few weeks. He has eclipsed 20.0 DK points in three of his past four games. Hill just failed to hit the double-digit three-time goal this season while having 15 or more times. The Broncos have stopped Hill in two meetings in 2020, but he’s a threat to hit a monster score in any given week. Since we’re not hiring Patrick Mahomes, we’ll include his top two targets.
FLEX TE Travis Kelce, Team Leader ($10,000)
Kelce has had a bit of a hit, scoring 17.8, 22.9 and 18.8 DK points since Week 9. He’s scored a total of 26 goals in that three-game span and has racked up the points. plus 10 out of five times this season. Kelce posted a line 8-136-1, good for 30.6 DK, during his last meeting with the Broncos. Anytime Kelce gets knocked out for a heavy load of work – and there’s no reason for us to expect otherwise – we’re happy to bet on him.
FLEX RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Team Leader ($8,600)
Edwards-Helaire is back after a five-week absence and continues his role as a backyard manager. He has turned 14 touchdowns into 15.6 DKs, and with two more weeks since the injury, a heavier workload is a reasonable expectation. The Chiefs was in great favor, suggesting a favorable game scenario for Edwards-Helaire and Co.
FLEX WR Jerry Jeudy, Broncos ($7,200)
It wasn’t the most desirable feat of the 2nd year from Jeudy, but he seems to be slowly returning to form after missing six games with a serious ankle injury. The Broncos were able to win Week 12 without relying on their passing attack (18 times, 155 yards), but in a game where the Broncos are under the odds at 10, Teddy Bridgewater very likely to be lagging more often. on Sunday.
FLEX TE Albert Okwuegbunam, Broncos ($1,400)
We are asking for a big play or a performance from “Albert O” with this play. He’s a final prospect sure to come out of the draft in 2020, and although he plays behind Noah Fant, he has enjoyed some moments in his brief career. He picked up five goals in Week 9 and turned three into a row of 3-77 in Week 10. He offers enough potential to supplement the roster’s heavyweights.
