Love the neighbors! In Jackson, Mississippi, residents struggling in the midst of a fourth day of water crisis, two women are doing what they can to make a difference. Social media personality and entrepreneur Supa Cent and her best friend Bee Marie have kept their word. They came to Jackson from New Orleans to provide clean water to the community. The women took to their Instagram with an empty bus to advise them to hand out over 10,000 water bottles.
The women took to their Instagrams, sitting in an empty bus powered by Bus Ion Get Tired that had been filled with water just hours earlier.
“We came down here as promised, warmed up on the ground, to make sure we did our job,” Bee said. “Today, we distributed over 10,000 bottles of water to the community.”
Supa talks, thanking her followers for providing them with the location to give birth. The boss’s closest friends initially announced they were down to see Jackson on Thursday. Crayon Case CEO wrote on Instagram, “@1bee_marie & I decided to rent a Uhaul to address water shortage in Mississippi. Sorry we couldn’t find any information, but @bus_idgt_partybus is always ready to help. Today we are filling the party bus with water cases. Anyone in Jackson, Mississippi, please let us know where to drop off. We will be leaving early tomorrow morning. Don’t forget #LoveThyNeighbor in difficult times!! “
Soon, the women went to Costco with their team collecting tons of water containers.
The water couldn’t have come at a better time. CNN reports that residents have been instructed to shower with their mouths closed as repair work on the water treatment plant continues.
Our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy.
