Supreme Court Orders Moving Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar Out Of Tihar Jail
Sukesh Chandrashekhar faces charges of extortion, money laundering and defrauding several people.

The Supreme Court today ordered the transfer of alleged ‘scammers’ Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his wife from Tihar prison to Mandoli prison in the city.
A bench of Judges SR Bhat and Sudhanshu Dhulia approved the order at the request of Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his wife alleging threatening their lives and seeking transfer to a prison outside Delhi.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar was jailed for extortion, money laundering and defrauding several people.
“After reviewing the documents in the file and also considering the order issued on June 17, 2022, this court considers that in light of the defendant’s statement of June 23, 2022, the plaintiffs should was transferred to Mandoli Prison. Accordingly, it was ordered,” said the bench.
The Supreme Court said the petitioners would be transferred to Mandoli prison within a week.
“This is an order for both of you,” the bench said verbally.
