suzuki used the Delhi auto show to reveal long-standing predictions Jimmy 5 doorsa more realistic version of its iconic 4×4 mountain goat car.

At 3985 mm long, the 5-door Jimny is 340 mm longer than the regular model, while the 2590 mm wheelbase on the ladder frame increases equally. Claimed ground clearance is 210mm.
No changes to the powertrain to handle the added bulk have been made, with the current 1.5-litre petrol engine carried over – paired with a part-time 4×4 system with low range. and available with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission selection.
However, Maruti Suzuki in India mentioned the automatic start/stop feature.
Official details are extremely scarce – the absence of a spec sheet and post-world launch press release is obvious – but the live stream mentioned the inclusion of curtain airbags. for both rows of seats.
Unlike the Jimny made in Japan, the 5-door Jimny will be assembled in India for export to Australia.

Australia has become a big market for Jimny. This is Suzuki’s second best-selling model here last year and still has to wait for a long time after 4 years of being sold on the market.

“Jimny has already built an absolute following in Australia and will only continue to grow with a new set of followers that need more space.
“The launch of this new variant will only further strengthen the iconic status of this model and will continue to be one of the most loved 4×4 models in the country.”
